The Oviraptor is a Tier 1 dino from the Forest biome.

Below, we see a charming Dino-Diorama featuring a large family of these theropod dinosaurs. Its name in Latin literally means egg-thief, but this is likely a misnomer, as more recent paleontological evidence suggests the clutch of eggs found with the original fossilized specimen, were her brood - and not her lunch, as at first suspected. What Oviraptors actually ate remains a mystery. See this video by Dr. Paul Barrett for a great presentation of the issues surrounding its diet.  The diorama below shows the hungry toddlers chasing bugs and fruit. If they were insectivorous, there appears to be a lot of tasty treats crawling amongst the flowers. Look carefully, can you spot some bugs for these hungry toddlers to eat? Are there enough for each dino to get at least one?

All these dino-dioramas will eventually be housed in the Museum of Dinosaurs, Beasts and Chimera once the renovations there are complete.

The first time I saw one of these pink-dinos, was after a late party at the faculty club. Swore I would never drink bug-eyed cactus juice again!
