The tundra-dwelling Mammoth was the first mammal introduced to Tiny Village, followed less than a week later by its arch predator - the Sabretooth Tiger. The mammoth will also usually be one of the first dinos to set up home in your village, the other early settlers being the Stegosaurus, Ankylosaurus and the Parasaurolophus. The best way to get one of these four dinos is to buy a random egg from the Dino Den.

Adult Mammoth

Below, we see a wistful Dino-Diorama featuring a rather large family of these fabulously furry mammals. Looks like the herd has way too many eggs, around 500 in fact. The harsh petrified sand dunes offer little in the way of sustenance, and back in the snow-covered mountains there is barely a lichen to chomp on. The herd has little choice but to try and find good homes in the many nearby prehistoric villages for their bumper crop of mammoth eggs - hence the road-side egg stand. Can your village give a good home to one of these orphan mammoth babies?

All these dino-dioramas will eventually be housed in the Museum of Dinosaurs, Beasts and Chimera once the renovations there are complete.
