Closely related to the common Brontosaurus is the Plains Brontosuarus, a magestic beast adapted for life in the flat plains.
First Release:
FIeld Guide: The eggs of the Plains Brontosaurus eggs are amongst the toughest dinosaur eggs. Just think what would happen if the mother brontosaur stomped her feet too close to those precious eggs. The vibrations alone could shatter an ordinary dino egg. For this reason, it takes a long time for the baby brontosaurs to escape from the egg that nurtured them, and one often finds even the toddlers still mostly wrapped within their egg.
Adult Form of the Plains Brontosaurus
Below, we see a stunning Dino-Diorama featuring a Plains Brontosaurus family at home in the wide-open plains habitat. Looks like the toddlers are having a little trouble busting out of their eggs. Those dino eggs can be really really tough! Almost indestructable.
